SIX Generations of Butchers!

| The great-great grandfather of the present owner of Jones Locker Service, Inc. Stephen Jones, was responsible for starting the generations of Jones' in the meat business, beginning in Rome, New York in 1850 and heading west to Clinton County, Wisconsin by 1870.
Jay W. Jones, stepped in to run the family business that Stephen Jones had started, until the year 1900. In 1902, Jay E. Jones, while farming near Harvard, began buying livestock and serving the community as a butcher. Jone Packing Co. in Harvard, IL was opened for business in 1952 by Robert M. Jones and proved to be a success. Robert L. Jones, son of Robert M. Jones, bought Stewart Locker Service with his wife, Darlene, now called Jones Locker Service, Inc., in 1970. Jeff and Suzy ( Bob and Darlene's Daughter) Madenis purchased Jones Locker Service in 2000. Occasionally, the seventh generation Gina, Melissa, Lena, Shana, Jenna, Megan, David and Malena give their hands of assistance |
